Anahachimangu Shrine, said to have been founded in 1062, is a historic shrine.
The grounds are lush with greenery, offering a serene space despite being in the heart of the city.
Its vermilion-lacquered buildings, such as the main hall and Zuijinmon gate, make excellent photographic subjects.
Notably, the "Ichiyo Raifuku" amulet, offered from the winter solstice to Setsubun, attracts numerous worshippers.
